Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Cypress Creek at Reed Road in Houston, TX. You will assist the property manager with daily operations, leasing, reporting, and resident relations to ensure a positive experience for residents, associates, and owners.

The role requires 2–3 years of property management experience, a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), and familiarity with Yardi Voyager. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of property management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities is required.
• Real estate license is preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day operations including resident satisfaction and full lifecycle activities.
• Maintain accounts receivable, rent collection, deposits, and rent roll.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit lease files and resident records for accuracy.
• Process evictions and lease renewals as needed.
• Assist with leasing, marketing, and staff training.
• Prepare routine correspondence and notices.
