Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the property manager in daily operations, guest relations, and financial tracking. You will help manage leasing, residency programs, and vendor relations at our Cypress Creek at South Cedar site.

Responsibilities include rent collection, reports, move-ins/outs, and coordinating with maintenance to keep the property safe and welcoming for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years of property management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day property operations including resident satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain accounts receivable, collect rent, post rent, and manage rent roll.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit records for lease expirations, delinquencies, and evictions.
• Process move-ins/outs and lease renewals; assist with marketing and leasing.
• Inspect property safety and cleanliness; coordinate with maintenance.
• Train staff on leasing, marketing, and office operations; prepare routine correspondence.
• Assist with resident relations and problem resolution; handle property absence coverage.
