Job summary

MRK Property Management LLC is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the Justin Commons community in Williamstown, NJ. You will drive property operations, revenue collection, budgeting, and resident relations to deliver strong results.

You’ll lead hiring and training, ensure compliance with programs like LIHTC, Public Housing, and Section 8, and maintain accurate property documentation while partnering with regional leadership to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years in property management.
• Two years of supervisory experience in management including budgeting, accounting, compliance and staff management.
• Experience with Public Housing, Project-based Voucher, Tax Credit and Section 8 preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Ensures property meets contractual and operational obligations—safety, security, maintenance, marketing, landscaping, etc.
• Develops and administers operating and capital expense budgets; oversees major capital projects.
• Completes annual certifications for LIHTC, Home, Public Housing, etc.
• Maintains complete property records and files.
• Coordinates timely revenue collection and accounts receivable processes.
• Manages resident relations and coordinates repairs/maintenance.
• Facilitates new hire orientation, onboarding and training; supports performance management.
