Job summary

The Galman Group is seeking a sensational full-time Property Manager to oversee operations and maximize occupancy and property values at one or more communities. The role supervises on-site staff, manages budgets, ensures timely rent collection, and coordinates vendor relations in compliance with applicable laws.

You will work closely with the Regional Manager to meet financial objectives, maintain resident relations, and implement programs that enhance performance and resident satisfaction

Qualifications

• Prior property management experience preferred.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented environment.
• Understanding of computer systems, web applications and software.
• Performs duties under pressure and meets deadlines in a timely manner.
• Works as part of a team, as well as completes assignments independently.
• High degree of flexibility with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational, presentation, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to engage quickly with individuals in an outgoing, friendly manner, and build and maintain relationships with business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Manage property operations and coordinate staff and resources.
• Assist in annual budgets with Regional Manager.
• Ensure rents are collected and deposits recorded.
• Perform evictions, utility cut-offs and landlord liens as required.
• Oversee vendor/contractor communications and invoicing.
• Hire, train, and supervise on-site staff in conjunction with Regional Manager/Upper Management.
• Conduct ongoing training with office staff on leasing paperwork and safety.
• Maintain lease files and ensure leases are executed properly.
• Open offices on schedule and maintain property and model apartments.
• Attend corporate management meetings and submit regular reports to the corporate office.
