Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Property Manager in New York, NY to oversee day-to-day operations, leasing, budgeting and tenant relations for multiple properties. You will lead property management staff, coordinate maintenance, ensure compliance with lease terms, and manage financial performance.

The role requires strong communication, supervisory skills, and knowledge of property management laws. Travel between sites may be required as part of this position.

Qualifications

• > High school diploma or GED
• > AA or BA degree in a related field (preferred)
• > Four (4) years of related experience required
• > Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• > Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• > Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with ability to train others
• > Basic understanding of building construction and infrastructure
• > Understanding of property management laws and best practices
• > Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day management at assigned properties; maintain communication with tenants, vendors, city agencies and local community
• Provide leadership to property management staff to optimize marketing, leasing, occupancy, collections, maintenance and compliance
• Inspect and arrange maintenance work orders to meet standards
• Maintain positive relationships with tenants
• Oversee leasing and marketing efforts in a timely and reliable manner
• Monitor property inventory
• Develop and manage annual budgets; forecast requirements and analyze variances
• Oversee staff performance, train and counsel staff to achieve goals
• Accomplish financial goals and report on financial performance
• Oversee contractors servicing the property and ensure lease requirements and standards
• Assist with violations removals
• Stay updated with job knowledge and market trends
• Other duties as assigned
