Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• AA or BA degree in a related field preferred.
• Four years of related experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Basic understanding of the materials, methods, and tools used to construct and repair buildings and infrastructure.
• Understanding of laws, guidelines, and best practices of property management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations at assigned properties and coordinate with tenants, vendors, and city agencies.
• Lead staff to optimize marketing, leasing, occupancy, collections, maintenance, and improvements.
• Inspect and arrange maintenance work orders to meet standards.
• Maintain positive relationships with tenants and oversee leasing.
• Develop and manage annual budgets by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances.
• Supervise staff performance and provide training and coaching.
• Monitor financial performance and report findings.
• Oversee contractors servicing the property and ensure compliance with lease requirements.
• Assist with violation removals and stay updated on market trends.
