Job summary

MMS Group is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a 83-unit affordable housing property in Baton Rouge, LA. You will manage operations, budgets, and staff to ensure regulatory compliance and high resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in residential multifamily/property management, 2+ years in affordable housing, and familiarity with Section 8 and LIHTC programs. Training and growth opportunities are offered in a high-tech work environment.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of residential multifamily property management experience.
• Minimum two years of affordable housing experience.
• Associate degree in Marketing and/or Business preferred.
• LIHTC Certification preferred.
• Experience with Section 8 voucher submission, tax-credit programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations.
• Collect rent and other property fees from residents.
• Address resident concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
• Prepare and follow an operating budget with the team and corporate office.
• Handle all accounting functions including invoices and evictions.
• Hire, train, and supervise site staff for high performance.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure standards.
