Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a Property Manager to lead the 148-unit Midland Park community in New Jersey.

The role manages leasing, budgets, maintenance, and resident relations, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, while directing on-site staff for excellent resident service. The candidate should have 3–5 years in property management with supervisory experience, familiarity with Yardi, and a degree or equivalent training in property management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in property management preferred.
• 3-5 years in the apartment industry with supervisory/management experience.
• LIHTC/Tax Credit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the apartment community to maximize marketing and financial results.
• Implement leasing, accounting, maintenance and resident relations policies.

Position: Property Manager

Location: The Kentshire. Our 148 unit residential community. Located in Midland Park, NJ

Key Qualifications:

• Tax Credit/Affordable (LIHTC) experience preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in the apartment industry with supervisory/management experience
• Experience using Yardi software

Responsibilities:

• Manage the apartment community to achieve maximum marketing and financial results

• Manage employee schedules, training, and performance evaluations

Requirements:

• Education:
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience; college coursework or training in Property Management preferred
• Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in the apartment industry with supervisory/management experience
  • Prior experience managing mid to large-size communities preferred
  • Prior experience with tax credit/affordable communities and experience using Yardi software preferred
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing and Equal Employment guidelines
• Skills & Certifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Property Management software (e.g., Yardi), strong communication, organizational, and analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Registered Apartment or CAM Manager certification preferred
  • Knowledge of Fair Employment Housing and EEO laws
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
  • Tax Credit/Affordable (LIHTC) experience preferred
