Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Property Manager to lead our NYC-area apartment communities. You will oversee leasing, operations, budgeting, and on-site teams to maximize performance and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of supervisory/management experience in the apartment industry.
  • Tax credit/affordable housing experience required.
  • Experience with city agencies for regulatory compliance (NYS, HCR, HDC, HPD, HRA, CityPheps, DOB).
  • Must be tax credit certified.
  • Familiar with NYC Local Law requirements and affordable housing regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the apartment community to achieve maximum marketing and financial results.
  • Implement company policies in leasing, accounting, maintenance, and resident relations.
  • Supervise and motivate on-site personnel.
  • Control budget objectives and expenditures.
  • Perform market analysis and set competitive prices.

  • Coordinate resident services and activities.

Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a community-inspired, passion-driven, team-oriented Senior Property Manager with a can-do attitude to join our growing Richman team!

Position: Senior Property Manager

Location: The Balton, Douglass Park, St. Nicholas Park, and Metro 125, our residential communities located in the NYC area.

Key Qualifications
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgmentand sound decision-making in a complex regulatory environment.
  • Experience with various city agencies to maintain regulatory compliance, inclusive ofNYS, HCR, HDC, HPD, HRA, CityPheps, and DOB
  • Must be tax credit certified with at least 3 years’ experience in low-income tax credit program.
  • Familiar with NYC Local Law Requirements and familiar with Affordable Housing Regulations

Requirements
  • Education:
    • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience; college coursework or training in Property Management preferred
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in the apartment industry with supervisory/management experience
    • Prior experience managing mid to large-size communities preferred
    • Prior experience with tax credit/affordable communities and experience using Yardi software preferred
    • Detail-oriented with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
    • Knowledge of Fair Housing and Equal Employment guidelines
  • Skills & Certifications:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Property Management software (e.g., Yardi), strong communication, organizational, and analytical/problem-solving skills
    • Registered Apartment or CAM Manager certification preferred
    • Knowledge of Fair Employment Housing and EEO laws
    • Valid Driver’s License required
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
    • Tax Credit/Affordable (LIHTC) experience preferred
