Job summary

Peppertree Village Apartments in Lakeland, FL is seeking a seasoned Property Manager to oversee our 192-unit residential community. The role reports to the District Manager and requires strong leadership in day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in residential property management, excellent people and supervisory skills, and proficiency with property management software, budgeting, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential property management.
• Excellent people, managerial, supervisory and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with property management software.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the highest standards of performance.
• Collection of rents, expense controls, and handling resident issues.
• Coordinate vendor scheduling and communicate with vendors effectively.
• Responsible for resident retention and social events monthly.
• Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards.
• Negotiate lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner.
• Develop and manage annual budgets by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, data, and trends.
• Oversee properties' personnel and evaluate its performance.
• Conduct safety meetings monthly, enforce safety rules, and ensure staff follow safe work practices.
• Must comply with state and federal fair housing regulations.

Units: 192 units total

Salary: $56,160 per year (Subject to adjustment for onsite living)
