Job summary

Remedy Medical Properties, headquartered in Chicago, seeks an experienced property manager to lead budgeting, financial analysis, and leasing oversight for healthcare properties nationwide. You will manage budgets, analyze leases, oversee capital plans, and supervise maintenance and contractors while ensuring tenant satisfaction.

The role requires at least 5 years in office/commercial property management, strong Excel skills, and the ability to travel locally.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or related field or equivalent experience/education preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of office/commercial management experience.
• Ability to create and manipulate budgets and variance reports in Excel.
• Strong communication, organizational, financial and time management skills.
• Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Local travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual property budgets and 5-year capital plan.
• Analyze leases and related property reports such as rent rolls and operating statements.
• Prepare monthly variance reports.
• Interface professionally with owner representatives on financial issues.
• Interact with tenants to address concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• Enforce and maintain property operating policies and procedures.
• Review and approve property invoices and monthly rent charges.
• Review aging reports and initiate collection efforts.
• Analyze operating statements and budgets for accuracy.
• Manage 3rd party contractors/vendors and rebid contracts as needed.
• Oversee maintenance personnel and property day-to-day needs.
• Interface with leasing team and prospective tenants.
• Manage Tenant Improvements and building capital projects (CMs engaged as needed).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual property budgets and 5-year capital plan
• Analyze leases and associated property reports such as rent rolls, operating statements and vendor contracts
• Prepare monthly variance reports
• Interface professionally with owner representatives on financial and operational issues
• Interact with tenants, addressing any concerns, issues or needs in a timely, professional manner
• Enforce and maintain property operating policies and procedures
• Review and approve all property invoices
• Review and approve all reoccurring monthly rent charges
• Review monthly aging report and initiate collection efforts
• Examine and analyze property operating statements and budgets; evaluate data and reporting to ensure accuracy
• Manage 3rd party contractors/vendors and rebid contracts regularly
• Ensure all day-to-day needs are met at the property
• Manage and oversee maintenance personnel
• Interface with leasing team and prospective tenants
• Manage Tenant Improvement and building capital projects (3rd party CM to be engaged when necessary)

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must posses the following qualifications:

• BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or similar business-related field, or equivalent experience/education preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of office/commercial management experience
• Ability to create and manipulate budgets, budget variance reports and other reports in Excel
• Must possess excellent communication, organizational, financial and time management skills
• Strong qualitative and quantitative skills
• Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, establish workflow priorities and work independently with high attention to detail
• Ability to start, cultivate and maintain strong relations and work in a team environment
• Prior employment history demonstrating the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities, and produce accurate results in a highly organized manner
• Local travel will be required

$80-95K salary range, based on experience, plus benefits and bonus.
