Job summary

Velair Property Management seeks a motivated Property Management Internship to gain hands-on experience across Minnesota communities, June 2026–August 2026. Duties include lease-up support, resident management, property tours, data entry in Yardi and Rent Café, and marketing tasks.

Must be pursuing a related bachelor’s degree and excel in communication and organization. Regular schedule is Mon–Fri, 30–40 hours/week; in‑person role with travel within Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lease-Up Support: Assist with the lease-up process for new residents, including processing tax credit applications and verifying income, assets, and student status.
• Resident Management: Help prepare leases, collect application fees, rent, and deposits, and manage data entry into Yardi and Rent Café systems.
• Property Tours & Lead Responses: Respond to leads via email, phone, or in person, and conduct property tours (both virtual and in‑person) to showcase available units.
• Data Entry & Organization: Input applicant information into Yardi for screening, monitor results, and organize resident files according to Velair’s process.
• Marketing Assistance: Support the marketing team with promotional materials and other tasks to enhance property visibility.
