Job summary

ARBOUR VALLEY MANAGEMENT, LLC in Lake Charles, LA seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager with daily operations, leasing, and financial duties. You will be the property lead when the Manager is absent and model professionalism for peers and residents.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, inspecting common areas, collecting rents, processing invoices, handling leases and addenda, and applying Fair Housing principles.

Qualifications

• Works with Property Manager on administrative and financial duties.
• Supervises staff and manages property in Manager’s absence.
• Develops a team to communicate quality and professionalism.
• Familiarizes with maintenance and property operations.
• Understands and applies Fair Housing principles.
• Assists in leasing activities and market knowledge.
• Handles resident concerns and service requests.
• Maintains professional conduct with residents and public.
• Must be able to be on-call after hours for emergencies.

• Collects rent payments from current and prior residents.
• Processes property invoices for payment.
• Monitors renewals and lease-related documentation.
• Assists in training and seminars as required.
