Job summary

Fairfield Property Management is seeking an organized and outgoing Assistant Property Manager to join our Louisiana team. You will support the Property Manager in overseeing the on-site operations of a multi-family community, including administrative duties, interacting with residents, collecting rent, and coordinating service requests.

The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to manage leasing tasks, vendor coordination, and daily financial transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Property management or sales experience preferred.
• Experience using ResMan or similar property management software preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager in leading property management operations.
• Enter and maintain accurate records in ResMan; process transactions.
• Collect rent and related payments; prepare deposits and reports.
• Review resident accounts; enforce lease terms and collect delinquencies.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with vendors and residents.
• Provide excellent resident service and resolve complaints with professionalism.
