Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community in Redondo Beach, CA.

The role involves conducting reports, handling resident requests with courtesy, collecting payments, and working with eviction processes while ensuring data integrity and compliance with policies. A fast-paced environment requires organization and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• The ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced working environment.
• Organization skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident requests.
• Collect monies due and oversee evictions, skips, and move-outs by auditing units.
• Coordinate with outside counsel during eviction processes.
• Enter data into property management software and finalize move in/out files.
• Maintain renter’s insurance procedures and process applications for new residents.
• Show model/target apartments and ensure spaces are clean and ready.
• Know lease terms, unit specs, availability, market conditions, and policies.
