Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• 1 year experience in property management maintenance performing the duties associated with a Maintenance Technician.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic skills such as measurement, averages and percentages.
• Able to operate general office equipment such as PC, telephone, copier, fax, and postage machine.
• Able to frequently use general maintenance tools, supplies and equipment.
• Position requires driving responsibilities and a valid driver’s license.
• Must meet Atria motor vehicle policy standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Complete service requests and repairs safely and promptly.
• Perform turnover work to make vacant apartments rent-ready.
• Maintain high customer service standards and respond to resident requests promptly.
• Follow company safety policies and promote safe work practices on site.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including Fair Housing and building codes.
• Assist with organizing and prioritizing service tasks.
