Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure physical property standards, including cleanliness, safety, and functionality across midrise communities. The role covers preventive maintenance, make-ready tasks, inventory management, and on-site upkeep for 244 units with a rotating on-call schedule.

This position requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Requires EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, depending on size.
• State and local jurisdiction certification requirements for all service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Conducts make-ready processes to prepare vacants for leasing and move-ins.
• Manages materials, inventory, and tools; notifies supervisor on re-order needs.
• Documents service work accurately to track requests and outcomes.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning and small repairs.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
