Job summary

Greystar in Portland, OR is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our properties, from systems to common areas, ensuring safety, cleanliness and function. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, complete make-ready tasks, and document work orders with accuracy.

This role requires EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated maintenance and repair skills on building systems.
• Ability to diagnose defects and complete repairs per safety standards.
• Experience completing make-ready and preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain property systems per policies.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units and inspections.
• Track inventory and materials; assist in procurement when needed.
• Document work orders accurately for tracking and reporting.
