Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Service Technician to maintain and repair building systems, grounds, and common areas across our properties. You will handle work orders from residents, perform make-ready tasks for vacant units, manage materials, and document activities for tracking and quality control.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification required for technicians.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from residents and performs preventive maintenance.
• Executes make-ready tasks to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins.
• Manages materials and equipment, tracks inventory, and orders supplies as needed.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and quality control.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as required.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
