Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure building exteriors, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will handle work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and help prepare vacant units for leasing.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in maintenance, and EPA refrigerant certifications if applicable. A valid driver’s license may be required for on-site operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years minimum experience in property maintenance or related trade preferred.
• EPA certifications Type I/II or Universal for refrigerant recycling may be required for some roles.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart on property may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Access, inventory, and document materials, tools, and supplies used; communicate re-order needs.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and minor painting as needed.
• Assist in safety compliance, training, and reporting of accidents or incidents.
• Periodically inspect work performed by contractors to verify quality and scope.
• Support property inspections to identify safety and maintenance concerns.
