Job summary

National Community Renaissance seeks a Maintenance Technician for Shadow Hill Apartments in Santee, CA. The role reports to the Community Manager and Resident Services Supervisor, supporting overall property maintenance under supervision.

Responsibilities include electrical and plumbing tasks, carpentry, painting, custodial duties, and unit turnover. A valid California driver’s license is required, with standby emergency coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in property maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Able to perform electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all maintenance projects and trainings as directed.
• Perform minor electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches, and outlets.
• Conduct minor plumbing work including clearing drains and replacing fittings.
• Replace broken tiles, screens, fixtures, appliances, blinds, and locks.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces as directed.
• Assist in custodial and grounds maintenance of common areas.
• Assist in scheduling and turning of vacant units prior to occupancy.
• Maintain clean storage and maintenance areas and respond to work orders within 24 hours.
