Job summary

Quantum Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle general apartment maintenance, appliance repair, light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks. The role requires safety focus, dependability, and flexibility for after-hours on-call emergencies.

The technician will manage maintenance programs, ensure timely work orders, and maintain inventory. Strong communication with residents and staff is essential to uphold company standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years related experience in property management.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly email, Word, and Excel; strong time management and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance/repairs promptly and professionally.
• Document work performed on service requests and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists to keep units market-ready.
• Coordinate make-ready schedules with leasing staff and on-site manager.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain inventory and shop condition.
• Order parts, obtain bids, and coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Provide after-hours maintenance support as required and ensure safety standards are met.
