Job summary

Atlantic Pointe Apartments in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, seeks a Property Maintenance Technician to keep our garden-style community safe, functional, and beautiful. Be the on-site problem-solver for residents, handling repairs, routine upkeep, and responsive service.

You’ll work with a friendly team, participate in make-readies, and contribute to a well-maintained living environment by prioritizing tasks and delivering quality workmanship daily.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property maintenance or handyman work
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs
• Certifications are a plus
• A valid Driver’s License is required
• Comfort with using work order systems or mobile apps

Responsibilities

• Be the Fix-It Pro handling repairs from plumbing to electrical and appliance maintenance.
• Complete make-readies for incoming residents and ensure safety and functionality.
• Keep the property in top condition with painting, carpentry and general upkeep tasks.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly, with a rotating on-call schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in good working order.
• Collaborate with the property management team to prioritize repairs and plan larger projects.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance concerns quickly and professionally.
