Avenue5 Residential is seeking a maintenance technician in Aurora, CO to address apartment and property upkeep across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC tasks. Be ready to perform preventative maintenance, manage work orders, and uphold safety and curb appeal for residents.

You will maintain high standards of customer service, interact professionally with residents, and participate in on-call emergencies while following company policies and training requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.
• Must maintain valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Address an array of apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by the supervisor or manager.
• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds as needed.
• Perform proactive preventative maintenance (siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator, etc.).
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standard and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with property emergencies (storms, fires, floods).
• Promote safety and risk management in accordance with company policy.
