Job summary

Hillpointe, a real estate development and investment management firm, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure our properties' buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards.

You will perform work orders, inspections, prep vacant units, manage supplies, and support on-site operations, with on-call weekend/evening shifts. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in buildings and common areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders.
• Manage inventory, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Adhere to safety protocols and codes; participate in safety meetings.
• EPA Type I/II/Universal refrigerant certifications required or willing to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• High School diploma/GED with related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect properties to ensure quality and address needs.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants.
• Manage inventory and order supplies.
• Maintain documentation.
• Assist in grounds upkeep.
• Support cost-cutting efforts.
• Participate in safety protocols.
• Work rotating on-call schedule including weekends/evenings.
