Job summary

Hillpointe is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical tasks across our properties, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas.

You will complete work orders, conduct inspections, prep vacant units, manage supplies, and support cost containment while adhering to safety protocols; on-call weekends/evenings as part of rotation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to diagnose and repair mechanical issues within buildings and common areas.
• Troubleshoot problems, perform repairs in compliance with safety standards and codes, and carry out preventive maintenance.
• Ensure thorough completion of tasks such as pre-move-out inspections, maintenance work orders, and documentation.
• Manage inventory, schedule vendors/contractors, obtain supplies, and track materials used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in safety meetings; promptly report accidents or incidents.
• Communicate effectively with management, residents, vendors, and contractors to coordinate work and meet property needs.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality and address property needs.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants.
• Manage inventory and order supplies.
• Maintain documentation.
• Assist in grounds upkeep.
