Job summary

Hillpointe is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical tasks across its property portfolio, ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards.

You will handle work orders, inspections, vacant unit prep, inventory, and vendor coordination, with on-call rotations including evenings and weekends. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license are required or pursued.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues within buildings and common areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document tasks.
• Manage inventory, schedule vendors and track materials.
• Follow safety protocols and report incidents.
• Communicate effectively with management, residents, vendors and contractors.
• Must have or be willing to obtain EPA Type I/II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Must have a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• High School diploma/GED and related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect property to ensure quality and address property needs.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants.
• Manage inventory and ordering supplies.
• Assist in grounds upkeep.
• Support cost-cutting efforts.
• Participate in safety protocols.
• Rotate on-call schedule including evenings, weekends, and mornings.
