Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Louis at 14th in Washington, DC. The role covers maintenance on buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, including completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacant apartments.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal), a valid driver’s license for on-site golf carts, and state/local certifications.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal) are required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• State and local certifications are required for all service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and codes.
• Finish the make-ready process and prep vacant apartments for leasing.
• Track inventory and materials, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document work orders accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost control by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible.
