Job summary

Greystar in Washington state is seeking a Service Technician to perform essential mechanical work ensuring buildings meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and proper function.

Responsibilities include completing work orders and the make-ready process for vacants, tracking inventory, documenting requests, and maintaining grounds while supporting cost-control by repairing parts when possible.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable).
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs per established policies, safety standards and codes.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspection and punch list creation.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor on re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests accurately for timely tracking and records.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and minor landscaping tasks.
• Assist cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible.
