Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building interiors and common areas meet safety and quality standards. The role covers completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacant units.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and adherence to safety policies. It offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Makes-ready process: pre-move-out inspection, punch list, schedule vendors, gather supplies, complete tasks, inspect work.
• Tracks materials and returns unused items to inventory, notifies supervisor on re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities (cleanup, pressure-washing, painting).
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing parts instead of replacing when possible.
