Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work that keeps the physical aspects of the property up to Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

The role includes completing work orders, performing make-readies for vacant units, managing materials and inventory, documenting tasks, and assisting with grounds maintenance while following safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on size.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing with inspection and punch list.
• Manages materials, inventory, and coordinates with vendors/contractors as needed.
• Documents work performed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as required.
• Support cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
