Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring property facilities meet cleanliness, safety, and functional standards at the Indianapolis site.

You will handle work orders, make-ready inspections, material management, and assist with grounds, signage, and cost-control efforts, while following safety policies.

Must hold EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license; expects flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• State/local certifications as required by jurisdictions.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventive maintenance per policy and code.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant homes, including inspections, punch list, and coordinating vendors.
• Manages materials and inventory from maintenance, documents usage and reorders as needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests to enable tracking.
• Supports grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning and painting as required.
• Assists cost-saving by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
