Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and functional. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, and support preventative maintenance to uphold Greystar’s standards.

Responsibilities include make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory tracking, and accurate documentation. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and cost-conscious repairs across property operations.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance and repairs on property systems.
• EPA refrigerant certification required or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate maintenance vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to meet safety and quality standards.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant units, including inspections and punch list completion.
• Access materials and track inventory with the maintenance supervisor.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Assist with grounds, common areas, and amenity upkeep as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
