Landmark Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the community's upkeep, safety, and resident satisfaction. You will assist with maintenance operations, repairs, and preventative tasks while ensuring a clean, professional, and OSHA-compliant work environment.

The role requires strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset, with responsibilities spanning inspections, inventory monitoring, and timely handling of service requests.

Qualifications

• 2 years of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair experience.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, professional, and OSHA approved work environment.
• Assist with the maintenance operations and repairs of the property.
• Assist with monitoring inventory of parts and supplies.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Report time and attendance.
• Make daily inspections of the community.
• Understand and adhere to Landmark Properties policies and procedures.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident and company information.
• Understand the needs and expectations of residents and exceed their expectations.
• Develop a sense of community among the residents and staff.
• Maintain active and effective communication with residents and parents.
• Maintain a positive community environment and encourage participation in events and activities.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with organizing and implementing a successful turn.
• Ensure service requests are completed in a timely manner.
• Be available on weekends and after hours for emergency calls.
• Understand, communicate, and enforce safety, emergency, and fire evacuations policies and procedures.
• Document and address behaviors of residents that violate the lease.
• Inspect the physical condition of the property and report problems.
