Job summary

Roofstock, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and service multiple rental properties across California. The role involves inspections, routine maintenance, ensuring HVAC operation, safety and quality across units and common areas.

You will prepare vacant units, coordinate with vendors, and perform QA inspections to ensure high standards. The position requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency required. Associates degree from a technical college preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Complete thorough inspections of buildings, units and homes (move-out, make ready, onboarding inspections).
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on apartments and single family homes, including units, common areas and amenities.
• Ensure HVAC systems are functioning as intended.
• Perform tests for proper functionality and have general knowledge of HVAC components.
• Prepare vacant units for new move-ins.
• Perform QA inspections of work by outside vendors.
• Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Work safely and address unsafe conditions.
