Westminster in Frederick, MD is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to keep our properties safe, functional and welcoming for residents. You’ll handle repairs, upkeep, and make-readies for new residents.

This hands-on role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry, plus a valid driver's license. You’ll work with the management team on repairs and improvements, while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in property maintenance or handyman work.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience with work order systems or mobile apps.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances; prepare make-readies.
• Paint, carpentry, and general upkeep to keep properties looking great.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies; on-call rotating.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep systems in top shape.
• Collaborate with property management to plan projects.
• Provide responsive customer service to residents and team.
