Job summary

RHM Real Estate Group is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician for a multi-family property in Columbus, Ohio. You will maintain the property, handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs, and assist with unit turns/remodels to improve aesthetics and functionality between tenants.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, inspections, responding to resident requests, keeping maintenance records, and coordinating with contractors to meet 3–5 day unit turnover goals.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in property maintenance or related field expected.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliance repair.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols for maintenance work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work on-call shifts and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and appliances.
• Inspect property regularly to identify maintenance issues and ensure safety.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests professionally.
• Keep records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections and inventory.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
