Job summary

RHM Real Estate Group seeks a dependable Maintenance Technician for a luxury apartment property in Ohio City, OH. You will handle routine maintenance, inspections, and safety compliance to keep units and common areas in pristine condition.

Responsibilities include resolving plumbing, electrical, HVAC issues, and performing unit turns within 3–5 days. On-call shifts are required to support property operations and ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in property maintenance or related field preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license is a plus; willingness to obtain a CPO through on-the-job training is required.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols related to maintenance work.
• Excellent and professional attitude towards resident care.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work on-call shifts and respond to maintenance emergencies outside regular hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure safety compliance.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and address concerns professionally.
• Patrol property to identify hazards and maintain cleanliness in all common areas.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents and coordinate with management for scheduling contractors.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure proper operation of equipment and systems.
• Assist with pest control where applicable.
