Job summary

Milhaus is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Columbus, OH properties. You will repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and grounds, ensuring safety and tenant satisfaction.

The role requires at least one year of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. HVAC certification is preferred or willing to obtain after hire. On-site work with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year demonstrated experience in the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing and groundskeeping.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate tools used for maintenance tasks.
• HVAC certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Receives service work orders and completes tasks within 24 hours.
• Polices grounds daily and as needed.
• Refurbishes vacant units within five days or less.
• Performs painting, cleaning, grounds work as needed.
• Operates various mechanical or electrical equipment and garden tools.
• Supports preventative maintenance and housekeeping inspections.
• Reports property losses or liability incidents promptly.
• Maintains OSHA and other safety standards.
