Job summary

Metropolitan Holdings in Columbus is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to perform corrective and preventive maintenance across a luxury multifamily portfolio. You will handle carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks while supporting make-ready/turn processes and vendor coordination.

The role requires 1–3 years in property maintenance, with EPA Type II or higher and CPO certifications preferred.

Qualifications

1-3 years of related experience in property maintenance.
Type II or greater EPA certification is preferred.
CPO certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete maintenance work and service requests including carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, masonry, and general maintenance.
Provide on-call maintenance for evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled; update status of all work orders.
Execute the Make-Ready/Turn process; complete move-out checklist and forward to management for charges and reconciliation.
Schedule and inspect vendor/contractor work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
Inspect rent-ready apartments to ensure maintenance items are completed and move-in ready.
Inspect building/site areas and provide inspection reports to Property or Service Manager.
