Job summary

Northwest Real Estate Capital Corp./Tamarack Property Management Co. is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to perform grounds cleanup, preventative maintenance, repairs, apartment turnovers, and janitorial tasks at our Oregon properties.

This on-site role requires solid building trade skills, a strong customer-service mindset, and the ability to manage work orders in our Yardi system; you will support the Property Manager and ensure a safe, hazard-free environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical training in building trades.
• Minimum 2 years of skilled maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs repairs including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks.
• Maintains exterior grounds and common areas, including lawns and trash pickup.
• Provides on-call maintenance and responds to emergencies as directed.
• Documents preventive maintenance activities and uses the Yardi system.
• Performs unit turnovers and bed bug treatment as directed by the Property Manager.
• Inspects units and coordinates with vendors as needed.
