Job summary

Northwest Real Estate Capital Corporation is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to handle grounds upkeep, preventative maintenance, and repair work across properties in Oregon. The role emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and strong customer service as part of the on-site team.

You will perform turnovers, basic trades, and minor system repairs while following property manager directions. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel between properties are expected.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent and technical training/experience in a building trade required.
• Minimum 2 years of skilled maintenance experience.
• Ability to operate power tools and basic building systems.
• Valid driver's license to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs repairs including painting, carpentry or wall repair, and minor plumbing/electrical/HVAC.
• Maintains exterior common areas and grounds, including lawns and shrubbery.
• Provides on-call maintenance and responds to emergencies as directed.
• Performs bed bug treatment during unit turnovers as directed by the Property Manager.
• Utilizes the Yardi maintenance/work order system to document tasks.
