Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and keep common areas clean both inside and outside the property. You will handle custodial tasks, grounds work, and assist in preparing vacant units for new residents, while operating equipment like power washers and floor scrubbers, and responding to after-hours maintenance requests.

The role requires basic maintenance knowledge, the ability to meet deadlines, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED – Preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or related field
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, and maintenance, drywall, basic carpentry, and make-ready
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Perform regular custodial duties and maintain common areas inside and out
• Complete grounds work such as trash removal, power washing, and debris removal
• Clean breezeways, doors, and handrails; perform basic pool care
• Assist in make-ready units and prep vacants
• Operate power washer, blowers, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, sweepers, and golf carts
• Respond to emergency on-call and after-hours maintenance requests
• Complete work orders within 24–48 hours and update records
