Job summary

Greystar in Nashville, TN is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet Greystar's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and coordinate with vendors to complete tasks efficiently.

The role requires handling work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting all actions. You will follow safety guidelines, manage inventory, and help maintain grounds and amenities

Qualifications

• Performs assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant units and coordinates vendor work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and prep for new move-ins.
• Completes make-ready inspections and punch lists for maintenance tasks.
• Tracks inventory and returns unused items to proper locations.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
