Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical standards of our apartment communities in Memphis. You will perform hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and efficient make-ready tasks to keep units market-ready and compliant with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include timely work order completion, documenting activities, and helping maintain grounds and common areas.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance and repairs on multifamily properties.
• Familiarity with completing work orders and inspections.
• Knowledge of safety standards and code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Handles the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and scheduling repairs.
• Tracks inventory and procures materials for maintenance tasks.
• Maintains documentation for service requests to ensure accurate records.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and basic painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing components rather than replacing parts when feasible.
