Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical tasks ensuring building interiors and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, complete maintenance work orders, and assist with the make-ready process for new residents.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, maintaining inventory, and documenting work for accurate records. This role requires flexibility, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and occasional after-hours

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal are required.
• State and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Execute make-ready processes for vacant apartments and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Track inventory and materials, and document work performed for proper recordkeeping.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting tasks.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts when feasible and using tools efficiently.
