Job summary

Greystar seeks a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and common areas, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will handle routine and preventative maintenance, complete make-ready tasks, and uphold company standards while coordinating with the maintenance team.

Responsibilities include inspecting sites, documenting work, and assisting in cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification (Type 1/II or universal) is required.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property is required.
• State and local certifications must be maintained as required.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections and creating punch lists.
• Manages materials from maintenance, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests promptly and accurately for proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing them when feasible.
