Job summary

Evergreen Real Estate Group in Chicago is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician to assist the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in preserving the physical integrity of the community. You will perform routine repairs, inspect for hazards, and help keep grounds clean.

This role requires ability to work with vendors, document work orders, and respond to on-call emergencies. A high school diploma and basic trade certificates are preferred; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Experience with routine maintenance tasks preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the physical property to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs as directed by Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Document work orders, resolutions, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with vendors for bids and outside services when needed.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and maintain safety procedures.
