Job summary

Evergreen Real Estate Group is seeking a Maintenance I team member to support upkeep and safety across our community. You will perform routine tasks, unit turnovers, and preventative maintenance under supervision to maintain a secure living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

You will handle basic repairs, assist with vendor coordination, and prioritize safety while working in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of general property maintenance experience preferred.
• Residential or multifamily environment experience a plus.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, safety procedures, and work orders.
• Familiarity with basic tools and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders involving basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues and escalate complex repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, screens, hardware, and small fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on HVAC units, water heaters, and other systems.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating vendor work as directed.
• Use PPE and follow safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance spaces.
