Job summary

Park Grove Realty in Buffalo, NY seeks a Maintenance Technician responsible for the condition, appearance and good working order of the buildings and grounds at the assigned property location(s). Under the supervision of the Property Manager, you will perform a range of upkeep tasks to ensure safe, clean, and welcoming communities.

The role requires a High School Diploma, at least 1 year in maintenance or related field, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or related field.
• Able to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather.
• Skilled in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and general upkeep.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep detailed records.
• Complete all resident and site work orders promptly.
• Turnover of vacant units expeditiously to minimize vacancy.
• Control inventory of maintenance supplies and suggest purchases.
• Be available on-call for emergencies.
